Do I need a passport to travel to Mexico?
Yes, you’ll need a valid passport to enter Mexico. Please check your expiration date—passports should be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel date. If you need to renew or apply, we recommend doing so as early as possible.
What’s the weather like in late March in Mexico?
Late March is a beautiful time to visit! Expect warm, sunny days around 85°F and comfortably cooler evenings around 75°F. Rain is rare, the ocean is warm, and there’s plenty of sunshine!
What kind of shoes should I wear for the wedding or events?
Some of our events will take place on sand, so choose shoes that are comfortable and sturdy. We recommend flat sandals, block heels, platforms, or wedges.
What should I pack?
Think vacation meets celebration! Be sure to pack a few swimsuits and cover-ups for pool or beach time, casual outfits for relaxing and exploring, and dressier looks for the welcome party, ceremony, and dinner. And of course—don’t forget your passport!
Can I drink the water in Mexico?
The EDITION provides filtered, purified water throughout the property — including in-room glass bottles, restaurant beverages, and all ice. You’re in great hands!
What if I have dietary restrictions?
We’ve made sure there will be food options available for all dietary needs. If you have a specific allergy or request, please let us know in advance so we can make sure you’re well taken care of!
Where are the wedding events taking place?
All events will be held at The Riviera Maya EDITION, so you won’t have to worry about traveling between venues.
What are the hotel room rates and dates?
We have secured special room rates at the resort from Tuesday, March 24, 2026, through Thursday, April 2, 2026. If you’d like to extend your stay before or after these dates, please contact the hotel directly to check availability and rates.
